Arkansas Attorneys McCutchen and Napurano Honored for Landmark Legal Achievements
Joey McCutchen and Stephen Napurano, two attorneys based in Fort Smith, Arkansas, have been awarded the Outstanding Trial Lawyer Award by the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. This recognition comes as a result of their significant legal victories, including a record-breaking $15 million verdict in a wrongful-death medical negligence lawsuit. The award, presented at the association's 63rd annual convention in Eureka Springs, acknowledges their dedication to protecting individual rights and upholding the American justice system. In addition to their courtroom successes, McCutchen and Napurano have been active in promoting government transparency through the enforcement of Arkansas' Freedom of Information Act. Their efforts have led to court rulings that enhance transparency and clarify open-meetings requirements. The attorneys have also been involved in legislative advocacy to refine FOIA laws and address predatory legal practices.
