Crunchyroll and Appning Collaborate to Stream Anime in Cars
Crunchyroll has partnered with Appning, an in-car app platform by Forvia, to bring anime streaming to vehicles. This collaboration will allow users to access over 50,000 episodes of anime content when the vehicle is parked. The service will initially be available in BMW and Mini cars, with plans to expand to over 40 auto brands globally. The integration will utilize TiVo's technology for personalized recommendations. The initiative aims to meet consumer demand for entertainment accessibility in vehicles, enhancing the in-car experience for anime fans worldwide.
