Sheetz Partners with Pittsburgh Regional Transit for Free Rides During NFL Draft
Sheetz, a convenience-store chain, has partnered with Pittsburgh Regional Transit to offer free rides on the 'T' light rail system during the 2026 NFL Draft, which is being held in Pittsburgh. The free rides will be available on the Red, Blue, and Silver lines, as well as the Monongahela Incline, from April 23 to April 25. This initiative aims to simplify travel, reduce congestion, and improve access to key destinations for the estimated 500,000 to 700,000 visitors expected to attend the draft. Ryan Sheetz, executive vice president of marketing and supply chain for Sheetz, emphasized the importance of making it easier for fans to navigate the city and enjoy the event. Additionally, select trains will feature Sheetz-branded elements, and the company will host fan activations, including giveaways and mascot appearances.
