Seymour Secures World Series Cycling Event to Boost Local Economy
The State Government has secured a world series cycling event, Gravelista, for Seymour, Australia, for the next two years. Minister Michaela Settle announced a $150,000 funding to host the event in 2026 and 2027. This event is expected to attract hundreds of visitors, boosting the local economy and supporting recovery efforts following the 2026 summer bushfires. Gravelista will serve as a qualifying round for the 2027 UCI Gravel World Championships in France. The event will start at the Seymour Racecourse, with riders navigating through the Goulburn Valley's gravel roads.
