Louisville and Oregon Police Collaborate on Decades-Old Homicide Cases Involving Pastor's Wives
Authorities in Louisville, Kentucky, and Gresham, Oregon, are investigating the deaths of two women married to John Bridges, an 86-year-old pastor, which have been ruled homicides decades apart. Joyce 'Mable' Bridges died in 1972 in Louisville, initially considered an accident, but was later reclassified as a homicide after her body was exhumed in 2015. Similarly, Astrid Bridges died in 1993 in Oregon, with her death also initially ruled accidental but later determined to be a homicide. John Bridges, who has been married five times, is a suspect in Astrid's death, though not officially named in Joyce's case.
