New South LA Dunkin’ Donuts Faces Backlash Over No Indoor Seating Policy
A newly opened Dunkin’ Donuts in South Los Angeles has sparked controversy due to its decision not to allow customers inside the store. Instead, patrons must use a drive-through or a touch screen terminal to place orders and pick up their food and drinks from a service window. This setup has been criticized by a customer who posted a viral video on TikTok, expressing frustration over the lack of indoor seating. The store, located at Manchester Boulevard and South Figueroa Street, opened in early April. The decision to restrict indoor access is reportedly due to safety concerns in the area, which has a high crime rate.
