Fort Worth Voters Approve $845 Million Bond Package for Infrastructure and Community Projects
Fort Worth voters have approved a comprehensive $845 million bond package aimed at funding a variety of infrastructure and community projects. The bond, which was divided into six propositions, received voter approval for each segment, allowing the city to proceed with the entire package. The funding will be allocated to improvements in streets, parks, libraries, affordable housing, public safety facilities, and animal care services. Mayor Mattie Parker noted that the bond package was developed from over $2 billion in proposed projects submitted by the community, which city leaders narrowed down to the $845 million approved by voters.
