Home Affairs Initiates Internal Discussion on AI Adoption
The Australian Department of Home Affairs is initiating a department-wide conversation on adopting three types of artificial intelligence (AI): assisted, embedded, and agentic. This follows earlier preparatory work and aims to explore AI's potential in enhancing productivity and operational efficiency. The department is particularly interested in how AI can be integrated into existing platforms like ServiceNow, which is used for security operations. The focus is on developing a strategy to operationalize AI capabilities, with an emphasis on creating an incubator for deliberate use cases to prove value.
