While some institutions, like Alexandria City Public Schools, have successfully implemented AI to streamline ceremonies, others, such as Washington-Liberty High School, faced backlash from parents and students who value the personal touch of human announcers. The use of AI has led to technical issues in some cases, such as a malfunction at Glendale Community College, which resulted in skipped names and audience dissatisfaction.
