Wallace Chan Unveils Ambitious Titanium Exhibition at Shanghai's Long Museum
Wallace Chan, a renowned Hong Kong artist, has launched a major exhibition titled 'Vessels of Other Worlds' at the Long Museum West Bund in Shanghai. The exhibition, which opened on July 18 and runs through October 25, showcases Chan's largest and most ambitious works to date. It features a series of colossal titanium vessels, each representing themes of birth, growth, and rebirth. The exhibition is a continuation of a dual-site project that began in Venice, emphasizing contrasts between historical and contemporary settings. Chan's work is known for its intricate craftsmanship and innovative use of titanium, a material typically associated with aerospace and medical industries.
