The storms also caused significant damage across North Jersey, including flash flooding, downed power lines, and fallen trees. In Hawthorne, floodwaters damaged roads and trapped residents, while in Woodland Park, over 60 people, including children, were evacuated from daycare centers. In Midland Park, a massive tree branch crashed into a home, causing extensive property damage. Emergency crews are working to address the aftermath of the storm.
