South Korea's NOFI Secures 65,000 Tonnes of Corn in Private Deal
Nonghyup Feed Inc. (NOFI), a leading South Korean feedmaker, has purchased approximately 65,000 metric tonnes of animal-feed corn in a private transaction. This deal was conducted without an international tender, as reported by European traders. The corn was acquired at a price of $263.58 per ton, with additional costs for freight and port unloading. The seller of the corn is Posco, and the shipment is expected to arrive in South Korea by August 20.
