South Korea's NOFI Secures 65,000 Tonnes of Corn in Private Deal
Nonghyup Feed Inc. (NOFI), a leading South Korean feedmaker, has purchased approximately 65,000 metric tonnes of animal-feed corn in a private transaction. This deal was conducted without an international tender, as reported by European traders. The corn was acquired at a price of $263.58 per ton, with additional costs for freight and port unloading. The seller of the corn is Posco, and the shipment is expected to arrive in South Korea by August 20. The transaction reflects ongoing assessments by traders, with potential for further estimates of prices and volumes.
