Pittsburgh Mayor Denies Morgan Wallen's Claims of Consultation Before Show Cancellation
Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O’Connor has refuted claims made by country singer Morgan Wallen regarding the cancellation of a concert in the city. Wallen had stated that his team consulted with local officials before deciding to cancel the show due to anticipated severe weather. However, Mayor O’Connor clarified that no such consultation took place with his administration or the city's public safety officials. The concert, scheduled at Acrisure Stadium, was called off just hours before it was set to begin, citing potential adverse weather conditions. Despite Wallen's assertions on social media that the decision was made in consultation with local authorities, the mayor emphasized that there was no record of any communication with city officials regarding the cancellation.
