Calexico High School Celebrates Class of 2026 Graduation Amidst Cultural Diversity
Calexico High School's Class of 2026 celebrated their graduation at Ward Field, marking the culmination of their high school journey. The ceremony highlighted the unique binational culture of Calexico, a border town, and featured students from diverse backgrounds, including exchange student Cordut Pirvu from Romania. The event included performances of 'America the Beautiful' and the national anthem, as well as speeches from student leaders. Graduates shared their experiences overcoming language barriers and adapting to a new culture, with many planning to pursue higher education at prestigious universities.
