Augusta Launches New Trailhead and Pedestrian Bridge Project
Augusta, Georgia, has commenced construction on the Village at Riverwatch Trailhead and Pedestrian Bridge. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Augusta Mayor Garnett Johnson, Georgia State Representative Mark Newton, and members of the Augusta Canal Authority. The new development will feature a raised boardwalk, walking trail, and kayak launch, enhancing recreational opportunities in the area. The project aims to improve access to the Augusta Canal and promote outdoor activities for residents and visitors.
