This family-owned park, operational since 1926, is noted for being the largest free-admission amusement park in the country. It offers a variety of attractions including roller coasters, kid-friendly rides, swimming, camping, a mining museum, and a championship 18-hole golf course. The park received a high rating of 4.7 from nearly 3,000 reviewers on TripAdvisor. Knoebels' recognition comes as it surpasses other well-known parks such as Dollywood, Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Universal Island, which rounded out the top five on the list.
