Severe Storms and Tornadoes Threaten Central US Throughout the Week
A series of severe storms is impacting the central United States, with tornadoes already causing significant damage in Kansas. According to Yahoo News Australia, tens of millions of people from the Texas-Mexico border to the Great Lakes are at risk of severe weather, including large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes. A tornado watch is in effect for northern Texas, central Oklahoma, and southeast Kansas, while a tornado warning has been issued for parts of Wisconsin. The storms are expected to continue throughout the week, with additional threats of flooding in Michigan and Wisconsin due to high river levels and ongoing rainfall. The National Weather Service has reported multiple tornadoes and significant hail damage across several states.
