Since its opening in 1976, the Winnipeg plant has become a significant hub for coin manufacturing, serving both Canada and over 80 other nations. The facility is known for its high-quality coinage and commitment to sustainability, employing practices that reduce environmental impact. The new collector's set includes six coins, each featuring a 'W' mint mark to signify their production in Winnipeg. This set is limited to 50,000 units and is available for purchase through various channels, including the Mint's website and select retail outlets.
