Baltimore Burger Restaurant Suffers Break-In Resulting in Significant Losses
A newly opened burger restaurant in Baltimore, Wanna Smash Burger, experienced a break-in just a week after its grand opening. The incident occurred in the Canton neighborhood, where suspects shattered a window to gain entry. According to Dajana 'DJ' Veujatovic, the Director of Operations, the intruders targeted the cash register, computer, and printer, and later returned to steal a safe. They also took a trash can filled with tequila and two iPads. The break-in resulted in an estimated $9,000 in damages. Baltimore police are aware of the incident, but no arrests have been made as of the latest reports. The restaurant has managed to recover some stolen items with the help of community members who shared surveillance footage.
