Paterson Families Receive Back-to-School Supplies at Community Event
Families in Paterson, New Jersey, received assistance preparing for the new school year at a back-to-school backpack giveaway event. News 12, in partnership with Optimum and Warner Bros. Discovery, organized the event at the Paterson Boys & Girls Club. Two hundred children were provided with backpacks filled with school supplies, along with books and free haircuts. The initiative aimed to support families and ensure children have the necessary resources to begin the academic year ready to learn. Community partners, including Staples, the New Jersey Jackals, New York Cosmos, and local departments, also participated in the celebration, highlighting a collaborative effort to aid the community.
