CNN Receives 32 Emmy Nominations for News and Documentary Excellence
CNN Worldwide has been honored with 32 nominations for the 47th Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards. The nominations, announced by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, recognize CNN's diverse coverage across various categories, including breaking news, international reporting, and special events. Notable nominations include Anderson Cooper 360 and The Lead with Jake Tapper for Outstanding Live News Program, and The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper for Outstanding Recorded News Program. CNN's coverage of significant events such as the LA wildfires and Texas floods, as well as international reports from Gaza and Iran, have been acknowledged. The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place at Jazz @ Lincoln Center in New York City on May 27th and 28th.
