Actor Nick Wilder Considers Leaving U.S. Amid Political Concerns
Actor Nick Wilder, 73, who has resided in the United States for decades, is contemplating leaving the country with his wife, Christine Mayn. Wilder, originally from Fehmarn, an island in the Baltic Sea, expressed concerns about the U.S. political landscape. He stated in an interview with t-online that if the country continues to shift further to the right politically, he and his wife would no longer wish to live permanently in America. The couple is closely watching the upcoming U.S. House of Representatives elections in early November, questioning the stability of democratic institutions and freedoms that they believe are fundamental to the U.S. As a result of these concerns, Wilder and Mayn have put their eight-hectare property in Montana, where they have spent part of the year since 1998, up for sale. The expected sale price for the property is three and a half million Euros.
