Firefighters Retreat as Massive Fire Engulfs Kimberly Clark Warehouse in Ontario
A massive fire broke out at a Kimberly Clark paper products facility in Ontario, California, early on April 7, 2026. The blaze, which is suspected to be arson, quickly grew, collapsing the warehouse roof and forcing firefighters to retreat. Approximately 20 workers were inside the 1.2-million square foot building when the fire started. Firefighters, overwhelmed by the rapidly spreading flames, had to make an 'operational retreat' to ensure their safety. The fire continued to burn into the morning, with fire trucks surrounding the building and pumping water to contain the blaze. One person has been taken into custody in connection with the suspected arson.
