Lund University has implemented a comprehensive policy and guidelines for the responsible use of generative AI within its academic and administrative operations. The university has also acquired Microsoft Copilot as a generative AI tool for staff and offers ChatGPT Edu to teachers and researchers, emphasizing a secure environment where data is not used to train AI models. Additionally, Lund University has purchased DeepL licenses for AI-based translation, tailored with LU-specific terminology.
