Innovent's IBI363 Shows Promising Survival Benefits in Immunotherapy-Resistant Lung Cancer

Innovent Biologics has announced promising results from a Phase 1 proof-of-concept clinical study of its PD-1/IL-2α-bias bispecific fusion protein, IBI363, in treating advanced immunotherapy-resistant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The study, presented at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, involved 136 subjects with NSCLC who received IBI363 monotherapy. The results showed significant survival benefits, particularly in patients with squamous NSCLC and those with a smoking history. The median overall survival (OS) for patients in the 3 mg/kg dose group reached 18.2 months for squamous NSCLC and 15.2 months for adenoNSCLC. The study also highlighted a favorable safety profile for IBI363, with manageable adverse events.
