Divine App Launches as AI-Free Social Media Platform
The Divine app, a new social media platform, has launched with a focus on being AI-free. Co-founded by Evan Henshaw-Plath, the app aims to provide a space for authentic content creation without the influence of AI-generated videos. Divine includes features such as classic square and modern vertical camera modes, and it uses 'proof mode' technology to verify the origins of uploaded videos. This initiative is part of a broader effort to bring back the essence of Vine, a popular short-form video platform that was shut down in 2017. The app has already attracted former Vine creators and offers over 500,000 archived Vine videos.
