El Al Cancels Flights Until April 18 Amid Middle East Conflict
El Al has announced the cancellation of all scheduled flights until April 18 due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The decision follows the Transportation Ministry's extension of restrictions on passenger numbers and flight departures from Ben-Gurion Airport. The airline will operate flights only to select international destinations, including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and several European cities. Passengers affected by cancellations are entitled to refunds or credit vouchers, with priority given to humanitarian medical cases. The Transportation Ministry has increased the passenger limit per flight to 100 and will allow two flights to depart per hour, reflecting a gradual easing of restrictions.
