Landus Cooperative Awards 'Excellence in Agriculture' Scholarships to Iowa High School Graduates
Landus Cooperative has announced the recipients of its 'Excellence in Agriculture' Scholarship, awarding $2,000 each to three high school graduates from Iowa. The scholarship aims to support students pursuing degrees in agriculture or life sciences. The recipients include Lauren Comes from Atlantic High School, and Lane Elmquist and Brody Weber from Audubon High School. These students were selected based on their academic achievements, leadership, and commitment to their rural communities. Lane Elmquist plans to study agricultural business, animal science, and agronomy at Iowa State University, while Brody Weber will focus on biology and animal science at the same institution. Lauren Comes intends to study agricultural business at Des Moines Area Community College before transferring to the University of Wyoming. The scholarship reflects Landus Cooperative's commitment to fostering the next generation of agricultural leaders.
