King Charles' Former Girlfriend Davina Sheffield Dies at 75
Davina Sheffield, a former girlfriend of King Charles III, has passed away at the age of 75. Sheffield, who later became Davina Morley, was once considered a potential spouse for the then-Prince Charles and was dubbed his 'soulmate' by some. Their relationship began in 1976, and she was introduced to the Queen Mother at Balmoral. The couple was frequently seen together at social events and in Charles's Aston Martin. Despite the royal family's approval, their relationship ended due to the tradition that the heir to the throne should marry an 'unblemished bride,' a factor that also prevented Charles from marrying Camilla Parker Bowles earlier. Sheffield later married Jake Morley in 1981, the same year Charles married Princess Diana, and had three sons: Thomas, William, and Henry. Her family has announced that a celebration of her life will be held in November in the Cotswolds.
