The truck bears the names of ten New York first responders who assisted Oklahoma after the 1995 OKC bombing and later perished on 9/11. The students, many of whom were not alive during the 9/11 events, recognize the historical importance of their work, viewing it as a way to learn about diesel mechanics and contribute to a piece of history.
