Leopard Rescued from Indian Home After Wandering from Forest
In a surprising incident in Mysuru, Karnataka, India, a leopard was found hiding under a bed in a residential home after wandering in from a nearby forest. The incident occurred on April 17, when local resident Suresh discovered the leopard after being alerted by a housekeeper. Suresh quickly locked the room to contain the animal until help arrived. Personnel from the Leopard Task Force, along with a veterinarian from the Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, arrived on the scene. The team sedated the nearly four-year-old leopard, safely restrained it with nets, and transported it away from the residential area. The leopard was later released back into the wild.
