The documentary follows Holmes for 34 days leading up to her imprisonment, after her January 2022 conviction for defrauding investors and wire fraud. A24, the distributor, released a teaser trailer and logline for the film, which states it transforms from an intimate portrait of an enigmatic felon into a three-year journey into the abyss. The film is slated for a theatrical release in October.
