Botswana Minerals Advances AI-Driven Exploration to Identify Base Metals Targets
Botswana Minerals is making significant progress with its AI-driven exploration program in Ngamiland, north-west Botswana. The company is focusing on licenses 458 and 459, aiming to identify and rank promising exploration targets, particularly for copper. A copper anomaly of approximately 9.5 km has been identified, along with a 20 km silver anomaly corridor and a 2.4 km lead/zinc mineralization zone. The exploration is part of a broader effort to leverage AI for better geological interpretations, moving from a regional view to more defined targets. The company is also considering various deposit types, including Irish type, carbonate replacement, and potential skarn systems.
