Arson Suspect Arrested After Massive Fire Destroys Ontario Warehouse
A massive fire erupted at the Kimberly-Clark Distribution Center in Ontario, California, leading to the arrest of an employee on suspicion of arson. The fire began shortly after midnight and required the efforts of 175 firefighters and 20 engines to contain. The warehouse, filled with paper products, was severely damaged, and several big rigs were destroyed. The suspect, identified as Chamel Abdulkarim, was arrested on multiple felony arson-related charges. The fire suppression system was compromised when part of the roof collapsed, exacerbating the situation. No injuries were reported, but the incident has left many employees without jobs.
