D CEO Honors 136 Organizations at Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Awards 2026
The ninth annual Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Awards, organized by D CEO in collaboration with the Communities Foundation of Texas, took place at the South Side Ballroom. The event celebrated 136 individuals and organizations for their significant contributions to the North Texas community. The awards recognized those who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and service, selected from over 900 nominations. Notable awards included the Community Impact Award, given to Cece Cox, CEO of Resource Center, and the Emerging Leader Award, presented to Kayla Abramowitz of Kayla Cares 4 Kids. The Volunteer of the Year Award was posthumously awarded to Cindy Dake for her work with the Christian Women’s Job Corps of Greater Arlington. The event was supported by sponsors such as Amazon, Capital One, and Texas Mutual Insurance.
