The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Human Resources department is hosting an online session titled 'Avoiding Burnout: Self-Assessment Methods and Self-Care Strategies' on November 2nd. This event addresses the rising concern of workplace burnout, with a recent study indicating that over 42% of the workforce is experiencing components of burnout. The session aims to educate participants on the elements of burnout, provide opportunities for self-assessment of their own burnout levels, and offer proactive self-care options. Attendees will be encouraged to reflect on their intrinsic motivations for their work and how to better align these motivations with their daily tasks to foster a happier and healthier professional life. The session is scheduled for 12 p.m. and will last between 45 to 60 minutes.
