Missing Woman Last Seen at Fort Yargo State Park Found Safe in Atlanta Area
Erica Gibson, a 21-year-old woman who was reported missing after being last seen at Fort Yargo State Park in Winder, Georgia, has been found safe in the Atlanta area. Authorities had initiated a search effort involving multiple agencies, scouring the park's grounds and water. The search was called off after police received information indicating that Gibson had left the park on her own Wednesday evening. She was last seen wearing blue jean shorts and a green and gray shirt, and is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 132 pounds. The City of Winder confirmed that she is no longer considered missing, and police are no longer actively searching for her at the state park. The focus has shifted to ensuring her well-being after she was located.
