NASDA Sets Federal Policy Focus for 2026 to Address Key Agricultural Challenges
The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) has outlined its primary policy focus for 2026, emphasizing five critical areas: agricultural labor reform, animal disease preparedness and traceability, the farm bill, pesticide regulations, and regional food procurement and distribution. NASDA President Amanda Beal highlighted the organization's role in bridging federal policy with local implementation, aiming to address the needs of farmers and communities.
