Long Island Twins Achieve Valedictorian and Salutatorian Honors, Head to Ivy League
John and Joseph Gomes, twin brothers from Long Island, have made history at Chaminade High School by graduating as valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively. John achieved a cumulative GPA of 99.42, narrowly surpassing his brother Joseph, who earned a 99.29. The twins have been inseparable throughout their academic journey, sharing interests in tennis, Nintendo, and board games. Their dedication to academics and extracurricular activities, including advanced placement classes and various clubs, has made them role models at their school. Both brothers are set to attend Brown University, continuing their education in government and environmental engineering.
