George and Amal Clooney Evacuate French Chateau Amid Wildfire Threat
George and Amal Clooney were compelled to evacuate their 18th-century estate in Brignoles, France, due to wildfires that have been ravaging parts of Europe. The fire, which erupted near their property, burned approximately 320 acres, prompting the evacuation of around 600 residents, including the Clooneys and their twins. The local mayor, Didier Brémond, later confirmed that residents could return home as the situation was brought under control. Despite the uncertainty surrounding their property, George Clooney expressed his commitment to the community in a letter to the mayor, emphasizing their desire to remain part of the local fabric.
