Wind Conditions Impact Coachella 2026 Weekend 1 Performances
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, faced significant disruptions during its first weekend due to adverse weather conditions. Italian EDM artist Anyma was scheduled to debut his 'Ãden' production on the main stage around midnight, but strong winds led to the cancellation of his performance. The festival organizers, prioritizing safety, announced the cancellation via their app just after midnight on Saturday. As the festival prepares for its second weekend, there are no wind advisories currently in place, allowing Anyma to attempt his performance again on Friday night. Other changes for Weekend 2 include lineup adjustments, with Kacey Musgraves set to perform in the Mojave Tent, replacing Jack White's surprise set from the previous weekend.
