Air India Introduces Paid Wi-Fi Services Across Its Fleet
Air India has transitioned from offering complimentary inflight Wi-Fi to a paid service model as of August 1, 2026. The airline now provides a tiered pricing structure for its Wi-Fi services, with packages ranging from INR 399 for messaging to INR 2,699 for streaming. This change follows the end of an introductory period that began in January 2025, during which Wi-Fi was offered for free on select aircraft. The new pricing model aligns with international standards, offering different levels of connectivity based on passenger needs. Premium cabin passengers and Maharaja Club elite members continue to receive complimentary access.
