New Hampshire Charitable Foundation Appoints Shawn V. Morehead as New President and CEO
The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation has announced Shawn V. Morehead as its new president and CEO, succeeding Richard Ober, who will retire in July after 16 years of service. Morehead, currently the executive vice president and chief program officer at the New York Community Trust, brings extensive experience in philanthropy, legal advocacy, and educational initiatives. Her appointment follows a comprehensive nationwide search. Morehead has a strong connection to New Hampshire, having family ties in the state and being a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy. She is recognized for her leadership in grantmaking and her role in significant philanthropic initiatives, including a $73 million COVID-19 Response and Impact Fund.
