Ross Douthat Joins 60 Minutes as New Correspondent
Conservative columnist Ross Douthat is set to join CBS's '60 Minutes' as a correspondent. Known for his provocative opinions, Douthat has been an opinion writer for The New York Times since 2009 and hosts a podcast called 'Interesting Times.' His addition to '60 Minutes' comes as part of CBS News' efforts to revitalize the long-standing news magazine series. Douthat's role will begin with the 59th season premiere on September 13.
