Vietnamese Embassy Hosts 'Vietnam Night' to Foster Business Ties at Hannover Messe 2026
The Vietnamese Embassy in Germany organized the 'Vietnam Night' event on April 21, 2026, during the Hannover Messe trade fair. This event, co-hosted with Hannoverimpuls and the Vietnam Association for Supporting Industries (VASI), aimed to introduce Vietnam's manufacturing capabilities and foster business-to-business connections between Vietnamese and German enterprises. Ambassador Nguyen Dac Thanh highlighted the importance of science, technology, and digital transformation as key drivers for Vietnam's development into a high-income country by 2045. The event focused on sectors such as mechanical engineering, automation, and manufacturing technology, with discussions centered around cooperation opportunities. Hannover Messe, a leading industrial and manufacturing technology trade fair, features around 3,500 companies from over 60 countries, emphasizing smart manufacturing, digital ecosystems, and energy for industry.
