Health Officials Warn of Measles Exposure at Boston Logan Airport
A traveler who passed through Boston Logan International Airport has been confirmed to have measles, according to the Boston Public Health Commission and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. The individual traveled on JetBlue Airways flight 470 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, arriving at Terminal C shortly after midnight on April 14. Health officials have issued a warning for anyone who was in Terminal C between 12 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on April 14, as they may have been exposed to the virus. The traveler left the airport in a privately-owned vehicle and traveled out of state, with no other known exposure points in Boston. This case is one of two confirmed measles cases in Massachusetts this year, both contracted out of state.
