U.S. Congressman Hal Rogers Celebrates Completion of Mountain Parkway Widening Project in Kentucky
U.S. Congressman Hal Rogers joined Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear and former Governor Steve Beshear to celebrate the completion of a significant section of the Mountain Parkway widening project in Wolfe County, Kentucky. This project has expanded 32 miles of the parkway to four lanes between Campton and Salyersville. Congressman Rogers emphasized that the Mountain Parkway Expansion, a 45-mile project spanning Magoffin, Floyd, Morgan, and Wolfe counties, serves as a crucial gateway to Kentucky's Appalachian region. He highlighted its role in creating a 400-mile corridor across the commonwealth, which is expected to stimulate economic development and industrial opportunities for future generations.
