Cougar Sighting in Howard Lake, Minnesota Raises Community Concerns
A cougar was spotted roaming through a neighborhood in Howard Lake, Minnesota, located 40 miles west of Minneapolis. The sighting was captured by a security camera, alarming local residents who are not accustomed to such wildlife encounters. While cougar sightings are rare in the area, they are not entirely unheard of, with a previous sighting reported in the nearby town of Dassel. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources believes the cougar is likely passing through and poses no immediate threat to people or pets, as long as it does not linger in town.
