Over 200,000 INIU Power Banks Recalled Due to Fire and Burn Hazards
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of approximately 210,000 INIU portable lithium-ion battery power banks sold on Amazon. The recall affects model BI-B41, sold between August 2021 and April 2022, due to risks of overheating and potential fire hazards. There have been at least 15 reports of overheating, including 11 incidents of fires causing minor injuries and property damage. Consumers are advised to stop using the affected power banks immediately and register for a refund on INIU's website.
