Connecticut Family's Dog Heroically Saves Boy from Charging Bear
A family dog named Bella, a husky mix, heroically intervened to save a 6-year-old boy named Colton from a charging black bear outside their home in Connecticut. The incident occurred on July 4, when Colton was playing in front of his house and was suddenly approached by the bear. The family's security camera captured the dramatic moment as the bear charged at the boy. Bella, sensing the danger, ran towards the bear and managed to divert its attention by nipping at its tail, ultimately chasing it away from the property. Colton's father, Jeffery Tazzara, recounted the event, noting the unusual and aggressive barking from Bella that alerted him to the situation. Bella's quick actions prevented a potentially tragic encounter.
